McAfee Utilities
• Name of DiskScanner–Choose Disk Minder or Scan Disk (only for the
OEM SR2 version of W indows 95 or later) to pick which one you want
Windows 95 to start if it encounters a problem with a disk.
• Display startup logo–SelectthischeckboxtohavetheWindowsStartup
logo to appear when ever you start Window s.
• Display shutdo wn logo–Select this check box to have the Windows
Shutdown logo to appear wh enever you restart the PC in Windows.
• Display turnoff logo–Select this check box to have the Windows Turnoff
logo to appear whenever yo u turn off the computer after shutting down
Windows.
• Scree n drop-down list box –Choose a logo screen name and the screen
previewshowsthecurrentimageforthatlogoscreen.Thenyoucanusethe
Change, Edit or Default buttons to c hange, edit, or r eset the default image
for the chosen logo screen, respec tively.
• Change–Select a s creen in the pop-up menu. Then click Change to select a
bitmap image(.BMP) or logo file(.SYS) to use for it. Note, Start-up images
must be 320 x 400 color images—several are provided in the McAfee
Utilities directory.
• Edit–Select a screen in t he pop-up menu. Then click Ed it to edit t he image
displayed in the lo go pr eview. EZ Setup opens the image in a standard
Paint w indow.
• Default–Select a screen in the pop-up menu. Then c lick Default t o use the
default bitmapimage for this screen.
