Move yourmousearound inarandommannerwithinthe Wizard window
and/or randomly press characters on your keyb oard until progress bar
sho wn in the dialog box is com pletely filled in.
The mouse movement or character pressing on your keyboard generates
random information used by the PGPdisk program as part of the
encryption (data scrambling) process.
9. ClickNext.A progressbarindicateshowmuchofthePGPdiskvolumehas
been initialized.
10.Click Next to mount your PGPdisk.
11.Click Finish. T he format window appears o n your screen.
12.Enter a label for t he new volume (this label identifies the v o lume in
Windows Explorer).
13.Cl ick Start. A warning dialog box appears.
14.Click O K (there is no data on the disk). The system indicates that
formatting is complete.
15.Click Close on the format w indow. Your PG Pdisk volume appears in an
Explorer w indow and an icon representing your volume also appears in
the location y ou specifie d. Double-clic k t he icon to open the volume .

Add/Remove Public Keys
You can add and r emo ve public keys for a PG Pdisk file. This enables you and
otherswhoknowthepassphraseforthosekeystousethepassphrasetom ount
the volume.
1. Make sure that the PGPdisk is not mounted. You cannot add a public key
if the PGPdisk file is mounted.
2. Choose A dd/Remove Public Keys from the File menu.
3. Select the PGPdisk from the Select PGPdisk toolbar. You are prompted to
enter the master pas sphrase. A fter entering appropriate passphrase, the
Recipient S election d ialog box is displayed.
4. If ad ding a publi c key
• Drag the key or keys you want to a dd f rom the top pane of the
window, to the bottom of the pane.
