If you have started UnInstaller, but are not are n ot working with the
Pow e rCleanfeature, clickOptions inthem ain UnInstaller windo w, thenclick
Settings in the m enu that appears. When t he Settings dialog box opens, c lick
the PowerClean tab.
The original default settin gs are:
• Turnonread-onlymode.
• Sp ecify that file s must b e 180 days old to b e deleted.
• Create backups of all deleted files.
• Pr e vent you fro m deleting files marked by a red circle as well as f iles
marked by a red circle with a diagonal line across it.
• Set the strictest criteria for duplic ate file s.
You ca n also specif y the folder where y ou intentionally dow nload files from
the Internet, if you have such a folderon yourcomputer. If you are using one
of the most common Internet browsers, such as AOL, Internet Explorer, or
Ne tscap e Navigator, U nInstaller automatically finds the f older wh ere t he
browser caches files that it d ownloads as you open a page on the Internet.
Ifyouareusinganunusualbrowser,clickCacheFolders...tospecifythefolder
where cached files are stored.

NOTE: For more information about the setting PowerClean options,
click Helpand click How do I set options? in t he What do you want to
know about PowerClean? section.
Viewing changes done using the PowerClean feature
The Report tab contains information only about actions that you’ve taken
during the current PowerClean session.
For detailed information ab out all actions you h ave performed using the
Pow erClean feature, including use o f t he Undo com mand, click View Report
on the File menu.
The R eports dialog box appears.
About Reports dialog box
The Re p orts dialog box displays nume ric a nd gra p hic information about
actions performed in the PowerClean feature and by UnInstaller wizards.
