User Profile
To customize protection settings foranother user, click User Setup from the
Internet Guard D og Home page, the User Set up screen is displayed. Yo u can
add, edit or delete a user’s profile from this screen. Click any of the buttons
available and follow through the instructions displayed on screen.
How Internet Filtering works
As a new feature of Internet Guard Dog, you can furthe r customize the
protection settings of a profiled user via the Internet Filtering options.

Internet filtering
You ca n set specif ic Internet filte ring options. Click the Internet Filtering
button and select via the following drop-down menu options:

• Content Ratings. This option allows you to control what kind of Web
conte nts the user is allowed to view.
• Web Sites. This option allows you to control what Web sites the user is
allowed or not allo wed to view.
• Content Filter.After launchingInternet Filtering,theContent Filter screen
is displayed . Thi s screen allows you to quic k ly enable or disable Internet
Guard Dog filters.
• Allow Internet Access. S elect t his option if you want the user to
access to the Internet at all times.
• Filter Web Access. S elect this optio n if you want to limit the user’s
access to the Internet.
• Use Search Cleaner. Select this option if you want Internet Guard
Dog to automatically filter certain contents (e.g.,words and
phrases).
• Allow Chat. Select this option if you want to allow the user to go
into online chat rooms.
• FilterChat.Selectthiso ptionifyouw ant toallowthe usertogo into
online chat rooms but filter certaincontents (e.g., words and
phrases).
