If you find over time that you are being alerted to potentialsecurity risks too
often, you can adjust the alert message settings in Protection Settings. Cookie
Blocker and Gatekeeper r equire a per iod of adjustment before Product Nam e
haslearnedtoaddressyourconcernswiththeleastamountofdisruption.
TIP: If yo u decide you no longe r wa nt to see an a le rt m e ssage, use the
question mark (?) button in the alert message to find out what setting to
change. A ll of the settings that controlthe alert messages are located
underProtectionSettingsintheOptionsmenu.
Using Browser Buddy to retrieve or store your Web site
passwords
You can depend o n Product Name to help you e asily navigate through t he
intricacies of the Web. For example, when you connect to Web sites that
require a name and password, you can use Browser Buddy to:
Drag yourusername or password from Password Manager and drop it on
the login form for the Web site.
Add new password information for a Web site.
Browser Buddy can also tell you how many cookies have been allowed or
rejected by Coo k ie Blocker and how m any times a search information you
initiated from one We b site, has be en blocke d by Search Pr ot ector from being
passed to another Web s ite.
TIP: Browser Buddy always remains displayed on top of any programs
open on your screen. If Bro wser Buddy is located in an awkward
position, you can close it and reopen it as need ed.
