• If you want to add a new file format to be excluded, click Add New. Type
the new file forma t in the space provided within th e File s to exclude text
box.
After making your selection, click Apply; then click OK.
File Shredder tab
Th e File S h redder tab displays options you can se lect to cu st omize the way
you want Shredder to work on your computer.
• Inthe Shredding level bo x, selecteither Quickor USGo v’t multipassto set
the shredding level.
• In the Miscellaneous box, select from the following additional options:
• Prompt before s hredding
•Showiconondesktop
• Add to Send To menu
• Check disk for er ror befo re shredding
After making your selection, click Apply; then click OK.
Quick Copy tab
TheQuickCopy tabdisplays optionsyou can selecttocustomizetheway you
want Quick Copy to w ork on your computer.
Settings box
• Select Show Icon on Desktop to access Quick Copy from your desktop.
• Select Enable Quick Copy to activate utility o n your comp uter.
Default Transfer Mode bo x
• Select Copy to set copy as the default transfer mo de.
• Select Move to set move as the default transfer mode.
An ima tion box
• Select On to turn on animation.
• Select Off to turn off animation.
After making your selection, click Apply; then click OK.
