Report errors only
Befo re interactively fixing errors, you can run D isk Minder with the Report
Errors Only option selected to examine or print reports describing a disk’s
problems.
To use Dis k Minder to report errors only, start Disk M inder, click Properties,
select the Repor t Errors Only check box and c lick OK. Then s elect the disks to
check, whetherto scanthedisks u rface andclickSt ar t. DiskMinderchecks the
disk and displays the Sum m ary report.

Interactively fixing errors
DiskM inder defaultsto informing you whenit finds an error and letting you
interactively decide whether or not you w ant to fix t he pro blem. When Disk
Minde r find s a problem while checking a drive interact ively, it displays a
message that asks you what to do to resolve it. The suggested response is
indicated by the default settings,including w hich button is the default (in the
illustration, the Fix button is t he default, which means that press ing E
NTER,is
like clic king t he Fix button).

NOTE: Disable the option, Check for Non-Ansi File Names when
running under a n inter nation al version of Windows that uses extended
ASCII characters.
Click Detail to display details of the repair Click Print to print the report Click Save to save the report
as a text file
If you selected two or more drives, use these
buttons to jump from one report to another
