Manually configure LAN properties
1 Click Start | (Settings |) Control Panel, then double-click
Network Connections.
2 Right-click Local Area Connection (or appropriate network
connection), and select Properties.
3 Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and click Properties.
Type the following:
• IP address – An IP address that is part of the same
subnet range as the UTM Firewall device LAN connection
(for example, if you are using the default settings,
192.168.0.2 - 192.168.0.254).
• Subnet mask – Subnet mask of the UTM Firewall device
LAN connection (if using the default settings,
255.255.255.0).
• Default gateway – IP address of the UTM Firewall device
LAN connection (if you are using the default settings,
192.168.0.1).
• Preferred DNS server – IP address of the UTM Firewall
device LAN connection (if you are using the default
settings, 192.168.0.1).
4 Click OK.
5 Repeat steps 1–4 for each computer on your network.
