Create New — to create a new shared resource for a selected category.
Delete — to delete a resource that is no longer used by any of the policies. Some
resources cannot be deleted.
Edit — to change the resource settings.
In
Alerts, you can use:
Category — to select the type of alert message you want to configure.
Create New — to create an alert message. The default alert message text is displayed,
and you edit it to create the new alert message.
Delete — to delete an alert message that is no longer used by any of the policies.
Edit — to change the alert message.
Rename — to rename the alert category.
View — to view an alert message.
Creating a new shared resource for anti-virus scanner
1 In
Policy Manager, click Shared Resource. The Shared Resources page appears.
2 In
Scanners & Alerts tab, choose Anti-Virus Scanner from the Category drop-down menu.
3 In the Scanners pane, click Create New. The Anti-Virus Scanner Settings page appears.
4 Perform step 5 - 12 of Creating new set of options for Anti-Virus Scanner on
page 115.
5 In the Alerts pane, choose a Category.
6 Click Create New and perform steps of Creating a new alert on page 120.

Note
You can view only the default alert message for each type of alert. Default alert
messages cannot be edited or deleted.
