Installing McAfee Quarantine Manager 6.0 DB Suite utility

2 In the Database Configuration page, select the Database Type as SQL Server and specify
the IP address or host name of the database server, user name and password to
access the database, and database name of the newly created blank database.
3 Select
Create McAfee Quarantine Manager schema. This will create a new schema in the
database to be used with McAfee Quarantine Manager.
4 Type the email address and password of the super administrator.
5 Click
Test. A dialog box appears that indicates the database is configured
successfully.
6 Click
Apply.
Installing McAfee Quarantine Manager 6.0 DB Suite
utility
1 Using an administrative account, log on to the server where you want to install the
software.
2 Create a temporary directory on the network or your local drive.
3 Do one of the following, depending on how you obtained the software:
Insert the CD into the computers drive and copy the installation files to the
temporary directory.
Download the ZIP archive and extract the files to the temporary directory.
4 Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder where you copied the installation
files. Open the
MQM60DBSuite folder and double-click SETUP.EXE. The McAfee
Quarantine Manager DB Suite 6.0 Setup
dialog box appears.
5 Click
Next. The End User License Agreement dialog box appears.
6 Click
I accept the terms in the license agreement, then click Next to display the Destination
Folder
dialog box.
7 Click
Browse to select an installation folder or accept the default.
8 Click
Next. The Ready to Install the Application dialog box appears.
9 Click
Next to display the Updating System dialog box. A progress bar indicates the
features being copied and installed.
10 Click
Finish to complete the installation.
