Viewing VShield task status information
You can also see statistical information in the Task Properties dialog box for
each VShield module.
To view this information, follow these steps:
1. Double-click the VirusScan Console icon in the Windows system tray
to bring the Console window to the foreground.
2. Double-click the VShield task in the task list to display the Task
Properties dialog box shown in Figure 4-46.

3. Click the tab that corresponds to the program component that you want
to enable or disable, or whose progress you want to check.
The status page will list the results of the last scan operation this task
conducted, and the name of the last file it scanned. To see a short
description of each of the items that appears in this page, right click a
figure or label, then choose What’s This? from the shortcut menu that
appears, or click the ? button in the upper-right corner of the dialog box,
then click the item you want described. These displays will not update in
real time.
If you have activated its reporting feature, the VShield scanner also
records the same information in the log file for each module.
