Selecting Schedule Settings
Afteryou have setascheduleforatask,andhaveclickedOK,youarereturned
to the ePolicy Orchestrator Scheduler page to complete the Schedule Settings
portion of that dialog box (Figure 4-11).

There are two settings available:
• Enable (scheduled task runs at specified time). Select this to run the
task at the times and under the circumstances that you specified on the
Schedule tab.
• Stop the task if it runs for __hour(s) __minutes.Selectthis to limitthe
duration of the scheduled activity. Use the buttons to specify the
maximum number of hours and minutes that the task can run. Use this
option with care so that the task does not end before the files have been
downloaded.
5. ClickApply tosaveyoursettingsandcontinue configuringthetaskwith
schedule settings. If you have finished configuring the task, click OK to
save your settings and close the Scheduler dialog box. Your saved
settings are transmitted to the ePolicy Orchestrator agents for
enforcement the next time that the agentsrequest new policies and tasks
from the server. See the ePolicy Orchestrator Administrator’s Guide for
