Power Guard
During normal operation, the Front Panel Power
Guard Indicators will momentarily illuminate during
peaks in the audio signals. In the event the MXA60
over heats, due to improper ventilation, high ambient
temperature and/or impedance mismatch, the inter-
nal protection circuits will activate. The Front Panel
Power Guard Indicators will continuously illuminate
and the audio will be muted. When the MXA60 has
returned to a safe operating temperature, normal op-
eration will resume.
Reset of Microprocessors
In the unlikely event the controls of the MXA60 stop
functioning, the microprocessors can be reset by per-
forming the following:
1. Press and hold in the VOLUME Control until the
STANDBY Indicator is no longer illuminated (ap-
proximately 5 seconds).
2. If the MXA60 was On at the time the step 1 was
performed it will automatically switch back On
and normal operation will resume.
Note: When a reset is performed with the MXA60
in the standby mode it will stay in the standby
mode.
Resetting the MXA60 to default settings
If it becomes desirable to reset all the adjustable set-
tings (Setup and Trim Settings) to the factory default
values, perform the following:
1. Press both the INPUT and VOLUME Controls
until the Front Panel Display indicates “FACTORY
RESET -COMPLETE-”, then release the two
