The Mclntosh MR 75 AM-FM Stereo Tuner is a
superb tuner using the latest high technology cir-
cuits. This fine tuner will discover more FM stations
with good quality than ever before.
FM AUTOMATIC FREQUENCY LOCK
The Automatic Frequency Lock (AFL) is a
patented Mclntosh circuit that activates when you
tune to the center frequency of an FM station. When
the center ON-STATION vertical LED indicator
lights, there will be no drift from accurate tuning, in-
suring minimum distortion and best performance.
AUTOMATIC STEREO NOISE SUPPRESSION
When listening to weak or distant FM stations, op-
timum stereo separation and signal to noise ratio is
automatically provided by a third generation phase
locked loop stereo decoder.
UNIQUE AM TUNER SECTION
The AM tuner's design is unique for a
superheterodyne receiver. It has constant selectivi-
ty, constant sensitivity and high image rejection
across the band. There is no loss of frequency
response at the low end of the band, the only AM cir-
cuit with all these performance features.
