6.2 3 s tage charging (flick switch to "3" stage)
PB-1000 can only perform 3 stages charging to Channel A. During initial charge
(stage 1), charg er will provide maximum cur rent to th e batter y. The built-in fan
will also turn ON . As the battery starts to get full, charging current will gradually
dec rea se (s tage 2: prog ram med to last n o lo nger tha n 24 hrs). W hen char gin g
current decrease to less than 10% of max. LED indicator will turn G reen to show
a fu ll charge. The charge r wi ll now maintain a float charge voltage (stage 3).

Check battery voltage level to se e if it is within the normal range, w hether o r not
a ba ttery is connected, or if the batte ry is already full and further charging is not
requ ired.
A constant current is provided so the battery can be quickly charged to 2.4V per cell.
A constant voltage of 2.4V per cell is provided until the charging current naturally
tapers down to 10% then stop chargin g.
