Conguration

Once the installation is complete, you can congure

the WiFi USB Adapter to connect to a wireless access

point(AP). The wireless conguration utility will start

automatically, and you’ll also nd a tray icon at the

lower right in your Windows systems tray.

1. Right-click the Wireless tray icon and select ”Open

Cong Utility”.

2. The conguration utility will scan for wireless net-

works within range. Click “Refresh” to refresh the

list of available wireless networks. To join a particu-

lar network that displays, select it and click “Add to

Prole”.

3. If the wireless network uses encryption, you need to

input the correct encryption key. The conguration

utility automatically suggests the correct authenti-

cation type (see the drop-down list), and you should

not change the suggested value.
