MySentry Monitor
Introduction 5
Required distance
MySentry only displays real-time glucose values and alarms/alerts that are transmitted by a Paradigm
523/723 insulin pump. The required distance between the pump and the Outpost is six feet (1.8
meters) or less. The distance between the Outpost and the Monitor can be up to 100 feet (30.5
meters). If a pump is not within the required distance from the MySentry Monitor or MySentry Outpost,
then real-time glucose values and any associated alarms or alerts from the Paradigm 523/723 insulin
pump might not be received and displayed on the MySentry Monitor. Refer to your Paradigm 523/723
insulin pump for real-time glucose values and alarms or alerts.
