How do I use the communicator?
By keeping the communicator plugged in and within
about 3 meters (10 feet) of where you sleep,
transmissions of your implanted heart device data
will occur automatically.
If you are requested to do so by your clinician, it is
possible to send a transmission manually (see
Chapter 7, “Sending a manual transmission”,
page 16).
