General Conditions
Students must be trained on the safe use involved in Running Engines before they
may begin working on them. The student must demonstrate safe and proficient use prior
to working on a running engine.

• Breathing protection (Shop exhaust system)
Possible Risk Factors
• Asphyxiation
• Burns
• Eye injury
• Projectiles
• Hand injuries
• Cuts and abrasions
• Entanglement
