When using the immersion blender, basic safety precautions
should always be followed:
1. Read all instructions before operation.
2. This appliance should not be used near children, or
individuals with certain disabilities.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.
4. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO OPERATE UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCE.
5. Unplug the cooker when not in use. Never unplug by
pulling the cord, always grab the base of the head
when unplugging.
6. To avoid injuries, DO NOT touch moving parts.
7. Keep hands and utensils out of the container while
blending. A scraper may be used to empty the
container once the appliance has been turned off.
8. To avoid damage to the blade, do not use to break
ice or with hard and dry substances.
9. DO NOT touch the device or the power cord with wet
hands.
10. Do not use power extension cords. Always plug the
cooker directly into a grounded AC power outlet.
