3.4 Intercom
3.4.1 Make an internal call
You can make internal calls between the base and any cordless handset
registered to the base.
1. Press M on the base.
2. Scroll Q to select the handset to be called and press the left O key to
confirm.
3.4.2 Receive an internal call
1. Lift the corded handset to answer the call.
Note
If during an internal call at the base you receive an incoming call, you will hear
the alert tone on the base. Place the corded handset on the base to end the
internal call. Then pick up the corded handset again to answer the incoming
call.
3.4.3 Transfer a call
You can transfer an external call from the base to any cordless handset
registered to the base.
During an external call at the base:
1. Press M on the base.
2. Scroll Q to select the handset and press the left O key to confirm.
3. When the internal call is answered, place the corded handset on the base
to complete the transfer.
Note
Your external call resumes automatically after 1 minute if there is no answer
from the cordless handset.
3.4.4 3-way conference call
You can hold a 3-way conference call between 2 internal callers and 1 external
caller.
During a call at the base with an external caller:
1. Press M on the base.
2. Scroll Q to select the handset and press the left O key to confirm.
3. When the cordless handset answers, press the left O key to connect all
three callers and begin the conference call.
4. Place the corded handset back on the corded base and press E on the
cordless handset to end the call.
Note
If there is no answer on the cordless handset, your external call resumes
automatically after 1 minute.
