4. Phonebook
You can store up to 100 names and numbers in the corded base. Names can be
up to 16 characters long and numbers up to 24 digits. The base and handset
share the phonebook.
4.1 Store a number
1. Press the left O key, the display shows Phonebook .
2. Press the left O key, scroll Q to Add new .
3. Press the left O key, the display shows Enter name .
4. Enter the name using the keypad, if you make a mistake, press the
right O key to delete a character.
5. Press the left O key, the display shows Enter number .
6. Enter the number using the keypad, if you make a mistake press the
right O key to delete a digit.
7. Press the left O key, the entry is saved.
Entering names
Use the keypad letters to enter names, e.g. to store TOM:
Press T once to enter T.
Press > three times to enter O.
Press > once to enter M.
Writing tips
Press the right O key to delete the last character or digit.
Press S on the base to insert a space.
4.2 View or dial an entry
1. Press the left O key, the display shows Phonebook .
2. Press the left O key, the display shows View .
3. Press the left O key, scroll P or Q to the entry you want.
4. Press the left O key to display the number.
5. Lift the corded handset or press
K
to automatically dial the selected
number.
4.3 Edit a phonebook entry
1. Press the left O key, the display shows Phonebook .
2. Press the left O key, scroll Q to Edit .
3. Press the left O key, and scroll P or Q to the entry you want.
4. Press the left O key, edit the name.
5. Press the left O key, edit the number.
6. Press the left O key, the entry is saved.
