12.6 Change the PIN
You can change the PIN using for registration or deregistration.
1. Press the left O key, scroll to Advanced set .
2. Press the left O key, scroll D to Change PIN .
3. Press the left O key, New PIN is displayed.
4. Enter the PIN and press the left O key.
5. Confirm PIN is displayed. Enter the PIN, then press the left O key or press the
right O key to delete the PIN.
12.7 Registration
Up to 4 handsets can be registered to one base station. Additional handsets
must be registered to the base before you can use them.
• The instructions described below apply specifically to your handset. If you
wish to register another manufacturer’s handset, the instructions may vary.
In this case, please refer to the manufacturer of the additional handset.
• The Master PIN is required before you can register or unregister handsets.
The PIN is 0000.
12.7.1 Register a handset
At the base:
1. Press and hold M on the base until you hear a beep. You have 90
seconds in which to register a handset.
At the handset:
1. If the handset is not already registered to a base, press the left O key.
2. Or if the handset is already registered to a base, press the left O key. Scroll
D to Advanced set and press the left O key. Scroll D to Register and press the
left O key.
3. When the display shows Enter PIN , enter the base PIN (default = 0000) and
press the left O key.
When the handset registers with the base, it is assigned a handset number.
12.7.2 Deregister a handset
At the handset:
1. Press the left O key, scroll D to Advanced set .
2. Press the left O key, scroll D to Deregister .
3. Press the left O key. When the display shows Enter PIN , enter the base PIN
(default = 0000).
4. Press the left O key. The display shows the registered handsets.
5. Scroll U or D to select the handset you want to delete and press the left O
key.
