16. Display messages. Tips to rectify possible malfunctions.
If the machine is turned off during an active program, the Break program is activated on restarting until the machine is ready for normal
operation. The following messages (quantities only as examples) may possibly be displayed.
Beverages cannot be dispensed until the machine has regained its normal operation mode.
Machine is cold. Key in „Operato“ position
Machine is cold. Key in „Manager“ position
After program interruption. Key in „Operator position
After program interruption. Key in „Manager“ position
After interrupted cleaning program. Key in „Operator“ position
(e.g. power cut)
After switching off machine without cleaning program and restarting
Malfunction Cause Solution
Coffee tastes unpleasant
Coffee stored for more than 1 hr. Use up freshly prepared coffee as quickly as possible
Pour quality ground coffee Consult coffee supplier
Coffee too cold
Storage urn open Put lid on properly
Boiler/storage temperature too low Contact Customer Service
Not cleaned, yesterday’s “cold coffee” Start cleaning program before next filtering
Coffee too weak
Dosage too low Increase dosage
„Empty” sensor not working Clean coffee hopper.
If no improvement, call Customer Service
Display flashing
Time and/or date not set Set
NO WATER/PRESSURE
Mains water pressure too low Open tap fully, check mains supply
Water filter blocked Change cartridge
Please wait
Min. boiler temperature not yet reached Wait for heating up process to end
