Venting the appliance
We recommend that you vent the appliance if it will not be used for an extended
period of time and before transport. This also protects the appliance against frost
damage.
• Ifnecessary,removethewaterlter,seepage38.
• Place a vessel below the outlet.
• Select the System sub-menu.
• Turn the rotary switch until Venting is highlighted
andpressittoconrmtheselection.
• Turn the rotary switch until Start is highlighted
andpressittoconrmtheselection.
• Connect the tube to the drip tray and to the outlet
(Fig. D)andpresstherotaryswitchtoconrm.
The appliance heats up.
