10.2.1 Turning the pre-heat function on
If the machine has been standing inactive
for a longer period of time and the surroun-
dings are unfavourable (i.e. not suitable
heated), the first drink that comes out of the
cuo in particular espresso may not
achieve the desired optimal serving tempe-
rature. In order to avoid this, the pre-heat
function must be turned on. This pre-heat
function sends a short burst of hot water
through the brewing unit, simultaneously rin-
sing it and warming it up.
This program can be turned on and off for
each product (excluding instant products
and hot water) depending on if pre-heating
is needed or not.
While the pre-heat function is running, the
name of the product you have chosen flas-
hes alternately with an hour-glass contai-
ning the text „please wait“.
