2 HCA Card Installation
2.1 Hardware and Software Requirements
Before installing the HCA Adapter card, please make sure that the system meets the hardware and software require-
ments listed in Table 5.
2.2 Installation Instructions
Read all installation instructions before connecting the equipment to the power source.
2.2.1 Installation Instructions as per Host Machine
The adapter cards listed in Table 3 on page 8 are standard PCI Express cards each with a standard x8 edge connector.
Please consult the host machine documentation for instructions on how to install a PCI Express card.
