BATTERIES To operate using batteries, gently remove the battery cover by sliding it in the direction of the arrow and insert 10 “C” size batteries following the illustration. Slide the CHARGE switch to the CHARGE position. Insert the AC Adapter to the jack labelled “DC 12V” on the unit and to a wall outlet having 120V, 60Hz only. Charging time is approximately 12 hours. Slide the switch to the EXT. or BATT position when finished charging.

Slide the TV/ OFF/RADIO switch to the TV position to turn the TV on. Slide the BAND switch to the desired setting: VL: Channels 2–6 VH Channels 7–13 UHF Channels 14–83 Tune a desired TV station by turning the TUNING control ❶ and adjust the VOLUME control ❷ as desired. 4 5 6 Adjust the rod antenna for best picture.

Slide the TV/ OFF/RADIO switch to the RADIO position to turn the radio on. Slide the BAND switch to select the AM or FM band. 4 5 Rotate the unit for best AM reception, or adjust the TV/FM Antenna for best FM reception. Slide the TV/OFF/RADIO switch to the OFF position to turn the radio off.

The finish on the unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture. Mild soap and a dampened cloth may be used. MAINTENANCE Do not expose this unit to an excessively hot environment for extended periods of time. Extreme heat could cause component failure or reduce component life.
