LISTENING TO THE RADIO Manual tuning 1. Press the TUNER button to select tuner mode. 2. Press the BAND SELECT button to the desired band. a) For FM Stereo reception: The unit provides FM MONO / STEREO selector (combined with Beat Cut selector). In Stereo mode, the unit will automatically switch to stereo when an FM stereo broadcast is received and stereo mark turn on in the display. b) For FM MONAURAL (MONO) reception: To receive weak (noisy) FM station, to set FM MONO / STEREO selector to MONO position.

TO REMOVE THE CDs: Whilst in the stop mode, press the OPEN / CLOSE button. • The disc tray will open. Remove the two discs. Then press the DISC SKIP button to rotate the disc tray and remove the remaining disc.
PROGRAMME PLAYBACK Use this function to programme the CD player to playback tracks in the order that you like. Up to 20 tracks can be programmed. Programme play is operated with the remote control or cabinet. 1. Press the PROG button If a disc(s) has already been loaded, the CD player will go directly to the programming mode and the “PROG” indicator will show on the system display. The disc number displayed indicates the disc that is ready to be programmed.
INSERTION AND REMOVAL OF CASSETTE – – – – Press Stop / Eject Key to open the cassette door. Put your cassette tape down the holder properly, with the exposed section Downward and the playback side facing you. Close the cassette door securely before starting. When finished press Stop / Eject Key to open the cassette door and retrieve your cassette tape. PLAYBACK – – – – – – – You can choose either TAPE A / 1 or TAPE B / 2 for playback. Press the TAPE Button. Put in your cassette tape.
CLOCK SETTING • – • • – • • Press the CLOCK set button twice. The hours start flashing. Press the TUNING Button ( or ) to adjust the hours. Press the CLOCK Set button again. The Minutes start flashing. Press the TUNING Button ( or ) to adjust the minutes. Press the CLOCK Set button or wait a few seconds and the clock will start running. TIME DISPLAY FORMAT: • – All the time information is shown in either 12h or 24h format.
SLEEP TIMER The sleep timer is a countdown timer for switching the system to standby mode after a specified time. It enables you to listen to the radio, a CD or a cassette prior to falling asleep. The sleep timer can be set from 120 to 15 minutes. • Switch on the system by pressing the STANDBY (power) button, either on the system or on the remote control. – The STANDBY indicator disappears. • Select the sound source by pressing TAPE, TUNER / BAND, AUX or CD. • Press the SLEEP button to set the sleep time.
