English Electrical safety q The appliance may only be connected to a mains supply with a rating of 220 - 240 VAC, 50 Hz. Never attempt to operate the appliance at a different voltage. The appliance must receive its supply via an RCD (residual current device) with a rated trip current of no more than 30mA. The appliance must be connected to an earthed power outlet socket. q Only connect the appliance to a properly installed and earthed mains power socket.
Route the mains lead in such a way that nobody can trip over it. The mains power socket should be as close to the appliance as possible. When connecting to the power supply, make sure the mains plug is pushed all the way into the socket. Use a suitable, easily accessible mains power socket and avoid using multi-socket adaptors.
