Mediadisk Diamond is a Home Media Center, with a built-in 3.5” HDD. It plays High Definition multimedia files (movies, audios and photos). SAFETY AND OTHER INSTRUCTIONS Please use MEDIADISK DIAMOND carefully and read following instructions. >>> Copyright Software, audio, video or any intellectual properties are protected by copyright and international laws. REMARKS 1. To ease file searches, the user is recommended to create 3 folders, respectively named “music”, “photo” and “movie” and then place the corresponding file into each folder. 2. Plug AC adapter 3. Press [Power] on remote control, the Mediadisk Diamond will switch on as the LED will turn on 4. Press [TV] on remote control to check output 5. CONNECTION Computer connection The MEDIADISK DIAMOND is also a personal multimedia files storage device and can be used with a computer. Connect the MEDIADISK DIAMOND to a computer with the USB cable, then, copy and transfer data. See above picture and connect the device to computer accordingly. The computer will detect the device automatically, then the device can be used as an external USB storage device.
HDMI output connection HDMI is a output with best audio and video effect. Connect HDMI cable to the output of the MEDIADISK DIAMOND. Select HDMI mode on TV and the Mediadisk Diamond output with [TV system] of the remote control. Digital audio device connection Connect the coaxial connector with the audio device by coaxial cable. Enjoy 5.1 high quality sounds through a multi channel decoder/amplifier with coaxial input.
USB host Once an USB device is connected, select folders in menu “Explorer” to display the content. 2 in 1 Card Reader Once a memory card is connected, select folders in menu “Card” to display the content. It only accepts SD HC and MMC cards.
INTERFACE Main interface Video Browse all your video content. Photo Browse all your photo content. Audio Browse all your audio content. File Manager Copy from one device to another with intuitive interface. Setup Change your settings.
BROWSER Press or to select media. Choose from Video, Photo and Audio. Press “Return” to go to previous list. Once you selected your media, you can chose device by pressing “HDD”, “USB” and “Card”. or on remote control and select Browsing Movies Use or and press button to play the file you want in Movies menu. Only Video files will be displayed under “MOVIE” Menu. Other media files such as Audio or Photo files won’t be displayed in this menu.

Browsing Photo Use or and press button to play the file you want in Photos menu. Only Photo files will be displayed under “Photo” Menu. Other media files such as Video or Audio files won’t be displayed in this menu.
Options during slideshow: During slideshow, you can access to different settings by pressing [option]. FILE MANAGER (COPY/PASTE & DELETE) Access to the File Manager interface on main menu, it allows copying or deleting files between HDD, USB and card reader. Copying operation Choose File Manager icon and press the green button (operations) You’ll be able to copy, delete, move, rename and multiple selection. - 13 - to begin handling your files.
After copying some files, go to “Copy Destination” as below Then press and the copy interface will run. After processing, you’ll get a “success” or “failure” message. SEARCH PROCESS For whether Video, Photos and Music, you are able to easily search files in “option” mode Select letters or numbers included in your title, use shortcuts to move, delete, switch uppercase letters, symbols or phonetic notation. Press when ready to search into your content.
SETUP MENU Go to Setup menu on welcome screen. Press or to switch between setup mode. It concerns System, Audio, Video and MISC configuration.

TROUBLESHOOTING For detailed troubleshooting information, please visit www.memup.com and consult FAQ 1. While playing movie file, subtitle is not shown. Make sure movie file name matches to subtitle file name. 2. While playing movie, there is no audio output. In SETUP menu, check if audio output mode is properly set.
