A remote caddy is a convenient way to store and organize

your remotes for the perfect living room setup. This fun DIY

project gives you the ability to personalize your own remote

caddy by using the Dremel VersaTip woodburner. You get to

decide what paint or stain to use, and you can use whatever

decorative pattern you’d like.

Print out the provided stencil, cut out, and begin trace

the caddy sides and base onto your 1/2" spruce board.

Once traced, it will be time to cut the pieces. Always

clamp the wood before cutting and be sure to wear

protective safety glasses.

STEP 3: cut Use your SM20 Saw-Max tool and SM500 wood accessory to cut out each piece of the caddy along the traced stencils. STEP 4: trace dividers Trace the divider pieces using the provided caddy divider stencils onto your 1/4" spruce board. STEP 5: cut dividers Cut out the dividers with your SM20 Saw-Max tool. STEP 6: nail caddy pieces together Now that everything is cut out, begin to assemble your caddy by nailing the pieces together using 3/4" bright wire brads.

STEP 8: place dividers Place the dividers into the caddy by sliding them into place. STEP 9: measure handle Measure the handle dowel and cut to fit between the side panels. It should fit snuggly. STEP 10: nail handle Nail the handle into place. Make sure that the dividers are in place beforehand. STEP 11: design decorations Design decorations for the sides of your caddy. Draw your desired patterns on with an erasable pencil.
