STEP 1: Measure Boards Measure and mark 6" on all of the 4' pine boards and drill a 3/4” hole at the mark. STEP 2: Measure and drill Measure and mark 1-1/2” in on the other sides of the boards and drill a 3/4” hole at each mark. Then sand all of the pieces smooth.

STEP 3: Trim the canvas Trim your canvas so it is 44” wide. STEP 4: create a pocket Measure 6" in and fold over one side so that the edge of the fabric meets the 6" mark. Iron the fold and apply glue to create a pocket. Repeat on the other side.

STEP 5: Create a stamp Draw symbols and designs on the sponges and carefully cut them out with scissors. Then stamp your design using craft paint and follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper drying time. STEP 6: Assemble the frame Place the dowel through the hole at the 6" mark on the boards and stand in an "A" shape with your connected dowel at the top. If it is difficult to connect the dowel to the holes, sand and smooth the inside of the hole with sandpaper.
