In Media mode, slide VÆ the controller.
The media menu bar is shown.

To select OptionsOptions: turn and press the con-
troller.
Playing similar tracks

To select PlayPlay MoreMore LikeLike ThisThis: turn and
press the controller.
COMAND automatically creates and plays
a track list with similar tracks. If there are
no comparable tracks on the data carrier,
you will see a message to this effect.

Select the required track.
Play mode
X
To select Playback ModePlayback Mode: turn and press
the controller.

Select Normal Track SequenceNormal Track Sequence.
The current track list is played in the order
it appears on the data medium.

Select Random Track ListRandom Track List.
The current track list is played in random
order.
X
Select Random MediumRandom Medium.
All tracks on the data medium are played in
random order.

To select SkipSkip toto TimeTime: turn and press the
controller.
A pop-up menu appears.

To set the time: turn the controller

Set the desired time using the number key-
pad.
Select active partition

To select Select Active PartitionSelect Active Partition:
turn and press the controller.
With the Select Active PartitionSelect Active Partition
option, you can select a partition in the USB
data medium.
Save files to Media Register

With the Save Files to Media Reg‐Save Files to Media Reg‐
isterister option, you can transfer supported
audio/video/image files to the COMAND
hard drive.

To select the SaveSave FilesFiles toto MediaMedia Reg‐Reg‐
isterister option: turn and press the controller.
A menu appears (Y page 176).
Manage Media Register

To select ManageManage MediaMedia RegisterRegister : press
the controller.
The contents are shown. Using the control-
ler, files and folders can be renamed or
deleted.
A pop-up window appears when the file is
renamed. The characters are entered using
the controller (Y page 28).

To select Delete All Media FilesDelete All Media Files: turn
and press the controller.
