If you deactivate ESP

, ESP

no longer sta-
bilizes the vehicle. There is an increased risk
of skidding and an accident.
Only deactivate ESP
®
in the situations descri-
bed in the following.
It may be best to deactivate ESP

in the follow-
ing situations:

when using snow chains

in deep snow

on sand or gravel

Press the ò button on the steering wheel
to open the menu list.

Press : or 9 on the steering wheel to
select the Settings
menu.

Confirm by pressing a on the steering
wheel.

Use : or 9 to select the DriveAssist
submenu.

Press a to confirm your selection.
X
Press the : or 9 button to select ESP.
X
Press a to confirm.
The current selection appears.

To activate/deactivate: press the a but-
ton again.
ESP

is deactivated if the å warning lamp in
the instrument cluster lights up continuously
when the engine is running.
If the ÷ warning lamp lights up continuously,
ESP
®
is not available due to a malfunction.

Automatic activation of Night View Assist
Plus

Press ò on the steering wheel to open the
menu list.

menu.

switched on, the night vision image is automat-
ically shown in the multifunction display if an

Activating/deactivating Traffic Sign
Assist
Under certain conditions, the Traffic Sign
Assist function allows you to choose if traffic
signs and messages should be displayed in the
lower part of the speedometer.

select the Settings
menu.

Confirm by pressing a on the steering
