10. Install field frame and end cap in drive housing align slots in field frame with recess in
drive housing.

11. Install through bolts and brush lead. Tighten fasteners securely.
Starter Solenoid
Testing/Replacement
1. Using continuity meter, connect test leads as shown, and connect 12 volt battery with
jumper leads as shown.

2. If no meter movement is present, replace solenoid.
3. Install through bolts and brush lead. Tighten fasteners securely.
4. Connect 12 volt battery positive (+) lead to solenoid switch terminal and negative (–)
lead to solenoid frame.
