OPERATION BY MINORS
Minors must always be supervised by an adult whenever operating a boat.
Many states have laws regarding the minimum age and licensing
requirements of minors. Be sure to contact the state boating authorities for
information.
DANGER
EXTREME HAZARD - Carbon Monoxide gas (CO) is colorless,
odorless and extremely dangerous. All engines and fuel burning
appliances produce CO as exhaust. Direct and prolonged
exposure to CO will cause BRAIN DAMAGE or DEATH. Signs of
exposure to CO include nausea, dizziness and drowsiness.

Blockage of boat exhausts by obstruction.
Operating with high bow angle.
Exhausts traveling along obstruction
Exhausts from other vessels in confined areas.
Operating at slow speed or while dead in
the water.
Operating with canvas tops and side curtains
in place without ventilation.
