Any connected Avid|DS workstations (slaves), will need the following
software installed:
•Avid|DS
• Avid Media Indexer
Avid|DS Workgroup
Configuration without
RP Station
If you have more than one Avid|DS workstation connected in a workgroup
setting, you need to designate one of them as a master. The Avid|DS
workstation that will serve as the master will need the following software
installed on it:
•Avid|DS
•Avid Project Indexer
• Avid Media Indexer
Any other connected Avid|DS workstations (slaves), will need the following
software installed:
•Avid|DS
• Avid Media Indexer
Avid|DS can be installed an RP station but it cannot run at the same
time as the RP application.
