2.2.6 Push the Up and Down soft keys to move the cursor to the desired RTD / alpha coefficient combination.
Press the Select soft key to accept the selection and continue.
Helpful Hint: To move page by page, press the
Function key to change the soft key row to “Up
Down PgUp PgDn
.” Subsequent press of the Up or Down key will return the Select and Back
soft key options to the display.
2.2.7 After selecting the RTD Type, the RIO Setup screen will appear as shown below. Use the
Up and Down
soft keys to move the cursor to the desired setting or function and press Select.
Choose New Probe: returns to RIO User Select screen
Display: set display for:
Degrees or Ω (1 Line)
Degrees and Ω (2 Lines)
Simulate Mode:
Simulation setup screen, see below
Measure Mode: Returns to Measure Mode
Selected Probe: shows current RTD Type selection
2.2.8 To display a temperature reading the user can also press the
Back soft key or press Measure Mode
key.
3.0 Rcal – Field Recalibration
The RIO4000 module can be recalibrated / re-certified using appropriate local standards and the MFT’s Rcal
feature. Two recalibration methods are available. See the FIELD RECALIBRATION Section of this MFT
Operator Instruction Manual for general information on the Rcal feature and initial setup. Once pertinent
parameters and options have been entered, move cursor arrow to the Start option on the main Rcal menu and
press the Select soft key. This initiates the recalibration type selection display shown below.
