Cal Type: This option allows the user to select and set up the type of calibration desired and to select the
location of the MFT sensor(s) that will be used for the application. Cal Type menu provides the user with a list
of supported calibration types to choose from. Meas/Sim menu allows the user to select the needed MFT
operation for the device under test’s input and the location of the associated sensor. Measure menu allows the
user to select the needed MFT operation for the device under test’s output and the location of the associated
sensor. A sample of this screen is shown below.
Press the Back soft key if you choose not to make any changes. The MFT will then return to
the Calibrate key main menu screen.
Select the Cal Type menu option to change the type of calibration desired. The following screen is shown:
P: Pressure transmitter calibration.
T/C: T/C temperature transmitter calibration.
RTD: RTD temperature transmitter calibration.
VMA: mA / V related calibrations (VMA0055 module is used to simulate or measure).
I/P: I/P converter calibrations.
P/I: P/I converter calibrations.
Switch: Switch testing (see the Switch Test section of this manual for more
details)
Loop Test: Loop testing of 2-wire HART or conventional device loops (see the Loop
Test section of this manual for more details)
Press the Back soft key if you choose not to make any changes. The MFT will then return to
the Calibrate key main menu screen.
