Using the CD player This chapter provides a summary of the functions of the CD player in order to identify the controls which you will use to operate the unit. It also describes all aspects of using the CD player, beginning with essential instructions such as switching on and loading a disc, to the more advanced functions such as programming. Unless otherwise specified, each function is available from the front panel or the remote.

Switching on and off During normal use the CD player should be left in the standby state.
