Using the DVD player

You can display information about a disc on the front panel or
on-screen display.
To change the front panel display
● Press Display (front panel, or remote if the 596 is controller *).
The display will step between the following options:
Display Example
Title and chapter numbers (DVD video
disc) or track number (audio CD).

Chapter number and elapsed track time.

Chapter number and remaining disc

Blank. Blanks all Meridian displays if the
596 is controller *.

To display disc information on screen
● Press OSD (remote).
For a DVD video disc this shows the following information:
Title
number
Chapter
number
Elapsed
title time
Camera
angle
Play
mode
For an audio CD this shows the following information:
Track
number
Elapsed
track time
Repeat
mode
Play
mode
For an MP3 audio CD this shows the following information:
Album
number
Track
number
Elapsed
track time
Repeat
mode
Play
mode
The album number is not displayed if there is only one album.
