Product Brochure

When sealing cement tiles, you will want to use the sealer prior to grouting.
You can use a cotton towel, sponge, brush, paint pad, or sprayer to install the
sealer. Apply even coats in moderation, and if sealer does not absorb
into the tile, be sure to wipe excess sealer off the surface with a cotton towel
or absorbent paper. We recommend doing 2-3 coats of sealer. Allow 30 minutes
between coats. Two hours after your final coat, test the sealer by pouring water
droplets onto the tile surface. If water absorbs into the surface, you should apply
another coat. When you have reached the desired amount of coats for your
installation, allow it to dry for a full 24 hours prior to grouting. Please be
advised that it is recommended that you reseal cement tiles once a year
to prolong their life.
Be sure that the surface is clear of any contaminants prior to sealing.
Test on scrap tile or in a hidden section to see the results of this sealer
prior to sealing the whole installation. Allow 24 hours to dry to determine
desired results, and then test for possible stains using likely staining
contaminants. Use caution when using this product. For safety purposes,
it is recommended that you wear chemical resistant gloves and protective
eyewear.
