Important information on safe and efficient
operation. Read this information before using your
headset.
This product is CE, FCC, BQB marked. Please note
that this product uses radio frequency bands not
available for use within some areas of the EU. This
product is intended to be used in Austria, Belgium,
Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands,
Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and
within EFTA in Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.
Users are not permitted to make changes or modify
the device in any way. Changes or modifications
not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user's authority to
operate the equipment.
Introduction
Bluetooth

headset is a lightweight wireless device
utilizing
Bluetooth
®
wireless technology. The
headset contains a microphone and a receiver. It
provides hands-free communication using mobile
phones, and the power is provided by a Lithium Ion
rechargeable battery.
Any device that you want to use with this
Bluetooth
®
headset must be compatible with
Bluetooth
®
technology version 1.1 or above. The device must
also support the same profiles as the headset.

Wearing preference

1. The headset can be worn on both sides. Just
plug the ear hook from the preferred side on
the headset, and put the receiver in the ear.
2. The ear hook is slightly flexible so that you can
adjust it to fit the contour of your ear. The
angle and depth are also adjustable for
wearing comfort.

Preparing to use your
Bluetooth
®
headset
1. Charging and battery time
It is our recommendation to charge the headset for
8 hours before first use.
A. Connect the adaptor to an electrical outlet.
B. Open the charging port cover and then plug
the adaptor's connector into the charging
port.
C. While charging, the blue LED light will stay
solid on; after charging is completed, the
LED will flash once every 5 seconds. Then
unplug the adaptor's connector from the
headset and disconnect the adaptor from the
electrical outlet. Close the charging port
cover.
D. Charging time is about 2.5-4 hours.
2. Pairing procedure
Before using your headset for the first time, you
must pair it with a
Bluetooth
®
mobile phone or audio
gateway.
A. With your headset turned off, press and hold
the Talk/Volume Up button for 7 seconds
until the blue LED flashes rapidly, indicating
that the headset is in pairing mode
B. Use your phone’s menu to
search for
Bluetooth
®
audio devices. The phone should
indicate it has found the "HH221" headset.
Select this.
C. When asked for a passkey, enter: “1234”.
Your phone will confirm that pairing has been
successful
D. If pairing does not occur as expected, turn off
both the phone and the headset and wait 10
seconds before repeating steps A - C
Turning your headset ON and OFF
1. To switch your headset ON, press the
Talk/Volume Up button for about 5 seconds
until the blue LED turns solid on. Press
briefly once more to link your headset to
your mobile phone.
2. To switch your headset OFF, press the
Talk/Volume Up button for 3 seconds until
the LED flashes, and then the headset will
turn off.
Answering a call
If there is an incoming call, a ring tone will sound in
your headset; you can press either the Talk/Volume
Up or Talk/ Volume Down button on headset to
answer the call.
If your cell phone supports auto-answering, the
headset will take the incoming call automatically
and you don't need to press any button.
Making a call with the headset by voice dialing
If your Bluetooth phone supports voice dial, you
can use this feature with the headset. Please refer
to your phone's user guide for more information on
voice dial.
