Base Station Installation

If there is only one BS and one Wall Mount Node in a system, a smaller 900MHz antenna will be

installed on the BS and the 25’ cable and roof mounted antenna won’t be supplied or required to be

installed as noted above.

The cellular (GSM) antenna is already secured on the top right side of the BS and does not need to be

altered.

Install the lightning arrestor

doing so will result in permanent damage to the BS and will void the warranty.

Aach the coax cable from the lightning arrestor up the wall to the BFA antenna which is mounted



Verify 

Change the lock combinaon          

netLiNK Tech Support.

Install the ID decal

Take photographs

Mount the Base Staon (BS) on a wall 



Run the power circuit        

enclosure and ensure that the BS has an uninterrupted power supply.

       

“acvate the Base

Staon” and “commission” the system - please reference the project name and address.

Mount the 900MHz BFA antenna to the

supplied mounng hardware bracket and

      

installer. Cut the conduit length so that the



least 4 feet of clearance. Now route and



     

sharp 90

angles or sharp bends.
