Advance the copying chisel, holding it at a 90˚ angle
against the workpiece.
The depth is limited with the adjustable depth stop.
Remove toolrest from toolrest holder and place the
support table into the toolrest holder. Set support table
close to the sanding disc (approx. 2 - 3 mm).
Lock the headstock spindle with the lock bar supplied
and screw the disc onto the spindle thread.
17 Disc Sanding Attachment
With the disc sanding attachment only minor sanding
jobs should be carried out, as adequate dust collecting
is not possible. Always wear a face mask when using the
disc sanding attachment.
The dust of beech and oak is carcinogenic!
It is recommended that the dust concentration in the
workshop does not exceed 2 mg/m
3

17.1 Sanding Discs
Remove the protective foil from the back of the self-adhesive sanding disc and stick to the disc, which has been
cleaned from all dust.
If the sanding disc needs to be replaced, simply put another sanding disc over it. This second sanding disc is then
easily removed by pulling it off when replacement is necessary.
