Sawhead shaft adjustment
The sawhead shaft must be set as follows:
- the sawhead must swing up to its upper rest
position automatically, and
- the sawhead must not wobble from side to side.
· To adjust:
- Turning screw clockwise = hinge mechanism
is tightened, play is reduced
- Turning screw counter-clockwise = hinge
mechanism is loosened, play is increased.
Kerf plate replacement
The kerf plate must be replaced if the slot is dam-
aged.
1. Unscrew the three screws on the table insert
extrusion.
2. Remove the damaged kerf plate from the saw
table (put a screw driver into the slot and lever
the kerf plate out of the table).
3. Insert new table insert extrusion and screw it
down.
Carbon brushes check and replacement

Worn carbon brushes are noticeable by
- irregular running of the motor;
- static in radio/TV while the motor is run-
ning;
- stopping of the motor.
To check or replace carbon brushes:
1. Unplug power cable.
2. Unscrew brush plug from motor frame with a
suitable screw driver.
In the illustration the replacement of the front
carbon brush is shown. The rear carbon brush is
located on the opposite side.
3. Pull carbon brushes out and check. Each car-
bon brush must be at least 6 mm long.
4. Put intact brushes into the brush holder. The two
lugs on the sides of the small metal plate must
fit into the grooves of the brush holder.
5. Replace the brush plugs.
6. Check the functioning of the saw.
Saw cleaning
· Remove chips and saw dust with brush or vac-
uum cleaner from:
- motor vent openings;
- hollow space under the turntable;
- setting devices;
- operating controls.
Also remove chips and saw dust from inside the
saw, if necessary.
Saw transportation
1. Swing sawhead down.
2. Push locking pin in.
3. Remove all accessories projecting over the saw
table.
If possible use original carton for shipping.
Saw storage

Store saw so that
- it can not be started by unauthorized per-
sons and
- nobody can get hurt by the stored
machine.

Caution! Do not store machine unprotected
outdoors or in damp environment.
