Sandpaper selection
Please choose the right size, suitable mesh sandpaper to get the
best matte quality. Sandpaper made from alumina, silicon carbide and
other synthetic abrasives will give a better matte finish.
In general, coarse sandpaper will wear off more material, and fine
sandpaper will give the best results. Therefore, the condition of the
surface of the matte material determines how to choose the right
sandpaper. If the surface is rough, you need to use coarse sandpaper to
make the surface of the workpiece consistent. Then use the medium
sandpaper to remove the marks from the coarse sandpaper, and finally
finish the sanding with fine sandpaper. Use different sizes of sandpaper
continuously until the plane is completely flat.
Note: Do not sand the machine without sandpaper. If it is sanded
without sandpaper, it will damage the buckle of the bottom plate.
