Installation instructions for part 95-5820

CAUTION!

Metra recommends disconnecting the negative bat

tery terminal before beginning any installation, unless the vehicle

manufacturer recommends against so. Please check with your local

Dealership for more information. All accessories, switches, climate

controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights must be con

nected before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition. Also,

do not remove the factory radio with the key in the on position, or the

vehicle running. It would be best to remove the key from the ignition

and then wait a few seconds before removing the factory radio.

95-5820 Dash Disassembly 3. Unclip and pull the side panels containing the a/c vents away from the radio trim panel. (Figure C) Note: It is not necessary to remove the panels completely. 4. 95-5820 Kit Preparation 4. Attach the (6) “U” style panel clips to the radio housing in the same location as the factory radio trim panel. (Figure D) 1. Clip the hazard/airbag switch assembly into the radio housing in the same location as the factory radio trim panel. (Figure A) 2. Clip the cigarette lighter socket into the radio housing in the same location as the factory radio trim panel. (Figure B) Continue to kit assembly 3.

95-5820 Kit Assembly ISO DDIN radio provision 1. Attach the appropriate left or right radio bracket to the radio housing. With the notch in the radio housing on top, align the holes in the radio housing with the radio bracket, and then rotate inward. (Figure A) 2. Slide the radio into the completed assembly and then secure it to the assembly using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure B) 3. Cut and remove the top (2) mounting legs.

95-5820 Desmontaje del tablero 3. Desenganche y jale los paneles laterales que contienen las rejillas del aire acondicionado, retirándolas del panel de la moldura del radio. (Figura C) 6. Desenganche y quite la cavidad del encendedor de cigarrillos del panel de moldura del radio. (Figura F) Nota: No es necesario quitar los paneles por completo. 7. Quite los (4) tornillos Torx que sujetan el control del clima al panel de la moldura del radio. (Figura G) 4.

Enganche el ensamble del interruptor de las luces intermitentes/bolsa de aire en la carcasa del radio, en el mismo lugar que el panel de la moldura del radio de fábrica. (Figura A) 3. Asegure el control de clima a la carcasa del radio usando la tornillería de fábrica en el mismo lugar que el panel de la moldura del radio de fábrica. (Figura C) 2.

95-5820 Ensamble del kit Provisión de radio ISO DDIN 1. Coloque el soporte de radio izquierda o derecha correspondiente a la carcasa de radio. Con la muesca en la carcasa de la radio en la parte superior, alinee los orificios de la carcasa de la radio con el soporte de radio, y luego girar hacia el interior. (Figura A) 2. Deslice el radio en el ensamble terminado y luego sujételo con los tornillos suministrados con el radio.
