Installation instructions for part 95-8211

CAUTION!

Metra recommends disconnecting the negative bat

tery terminal before beginning any installation, unless the vehicle

manufacturer recommends against so. Please check with your local

Dealership for more information. All accessories, switches, climate

controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights must be con

nected before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition. Also,

do not remove the factory radio with the key in the on position, or the

vehicle running. It would be best to remove the key from the ignition

and then wait a few seconds before removing the factory radio.

95-8211 Dash Disassembly Column shift models 1. Unclip and remove the trim panel below the climate controls. Remove (2) 10mm screws now exposed. (Figure A) A/C OFF 2. Carefully pull the air vents above the radio towards the rear of car to unclip and remove them. Note: There are (3) snaps; (2) at the bottom, towards the sides, and (1) at the top, in the middle. (Figure B) 3. Remove (2) 10mm bolts from the top of the radio/ climate control assembly, and then unplug and remove the entire assembly.

95-8211 Dash Disassembly Console shift models 1. Open the center console armrest, unclip the cover above the cup holder, and then remove (2) Phillips screws toward the outside of the panel. (Figure A) 2. Lift up and remove the shifter trim/ashtray assembly. (Figure B) 3. Unsnap the black cover from under the climate controls, and then remove (2) 10mm screws exposed. Attach the factory radio/climate brackets removed in dash disassembly, and the ISO DDIN trim plate, to the radio using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure A) REV. 11/19/2015 INST95-8211 2. 95-8211 Desmontaje del tablero Modelos de cambio de la columna 1. Desenganche y quite el panel de la moldura de debajo de los controles de clima. Quite los (2) tornillos de 10 mm que quedan expuestos. (Figura A) A/C OFF 2. Jale con cuidado las rejillas del aire de arriba del radio hacia la parte trasera del auto para desengancharlas y quitarlas. Nota: Hay (3) broches a presión; (2) en la parte de abajo, hacia los lados y (1) en la parte de arriba, al centro. (Figura B) 3.

Abra el descanzabrasos de la consola central, desenganche la tapa de arriba del portavasos y luego quite los (2) tornillos Phillips que están hacia el exterior del panel. (Figura A) 2. Levante y quite la moldura de la palanca de velocidades/ensamble del cenicero. (Figura B) 3. Suelte a presión la tapa trasera de abajo de los controles de clima y luego quite los (2) tornillos de 10 mm que quedan expuestos.

Usando los tornillos suministrados con el radio, fije al radio los soportes del radio de fábrica/ clima que quitó al desarmar el tablero y la placa de la moldura ISO DDIN.
